My little girl has had her first moult! This morning I checked in on her and found her to be much bigger, with a paler body - it was then that I noticed the tiny shed skin in a depression in the substrate!
I'm so relieved that she's shed safely, and she's a fine looking beasty now!
I'll try and get some pictures soon.

Great news, I'm always glad to see a molt to have occurred, I have yet to get to watch a full molt happen.
ReplyDeleteYes, I was a little disapointed that I didn't see any of it. Oh well!
ReplyDeleteI did watch my sub-adult G.rosea moult. It is the most incredible thing to see.
How 'complete' are the moulted skins? I'm picturing a glass case with a collection of increasing sized spider skins with little cards showing date and ages to track her growth. :)
